Canadian universities offer many different scholarship programs offered by Canadian Governments, Foreign governments, Financial Scholarships, Merit Scholarship, non-governmental organisations and international organisations:
Post Study Visa
International students in Canada are eligible for Post-Graduation Work Permit, allowing you to work for a period equivalent to the study program, up to a maximum of three years.
This experience can be valuable if you plan to apply for permanent residency in the future.
There has been new rules effective 1 November 2024 for eligibility for a PGWP program. Graduates of degree programs offered by Canadian Universities are unaffected by the new rules.
As per the new rules, college graduates will need to complete their studies in one of the following fields:
- Agriculture and Agri-food
- Education
- Health care
- Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)
- Trade
- Transport
